Cavallaro's Cavalcade of Carnage
So glad HDI is up and running again! Lets go!

I read 12 books this month.

Best of the Month:

Together We Will Go by J Michael Straczynski

From Babylon 5's creator. Really emotional story about suicide. Not horror, or science fiction. No spoilers. (Thanks for the rec, Mark)

Worst of the Month:

A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles

I read this one on Andy Weir's suggestion. I know a lot of people love it. I was bored to death.

The rest:

And the Devil Cried by Kristopher Triana. Another great one from Triana. Grade: A
Slewfoot by Brom. Very good witch tale. Grade: B
Razorblade Tears by SA Cosby. This dude is on fire. Grade: A
Jimmy Corrigan by Chris Ware (graphic novel). Couldn't get into it. Grade: D
Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami. My first Murakami and probably not my last. Grade: B
Survivor Song by Paul Tremblay. Good, but predictable. Grade: C
Dead in the Water by Jennifer Soucy. Average. Grade: C
The Corrections by Johnathan Franzen. Boring. Grade: D
Ghost World by Daniel Clowes (graphic novel). Love these character-driven graphic novels. Grade: B
Fight for Me by Wrath James White. Not one of his best. Grade: C

ALL HORROR NOVEL OCTOBER IS HERE! See you again in a few weeks!
