Books
No one writes erotic horror like Ray Garton. He's known for (sometimes) writing explicit fiction. Many of his works are charged with sex and violence. But these ingredients are never used for exploitative purposes. They are integral to the story that Ray is committed to telling.

Well, almost never. I've detected a gleefully warped sense of humor in some of Ray Garton's fiction. He knows that a reader wants to enjoy themselves when he or she picks up a book and he always succeeds in giving them their money's worth.

There's not a lot of belly laughs in Serpent Girl however. It's a grim psychological character study of two despicable individuals. Ray does a nice trick in Serpent Girl. He presents us with a pair society's worst transgressors. Yet for the majority of the book, he manages us to like these people. By all rights we should despise them, but Ray's crisp prose invites us into the mind of one and to our horror, it's not that uncomfortable a place to be.

Serpent Girl is a spare novel. With a 140 page count and fairly big type, it's a stretch to pay $40.00 for it. But this is such a rich, engrossing and satisfying book that I can only recommend...urge...you to buy it and experience it for yourself.
