Kyle Lybeck's Literary Lair
Horrible events occurred in Leesburg, Florida. Sinkholes had opened up, the town was in shambles. Mark and his husband were in the thick of it, trying to make it out alive.

Fast forward and Mark is still grief stricken by what happened in that fateful time of his life. Visions of monsters, his past haunting him, what is real and not real before his very own eyes?

In the midst of his personal catastrophe, a real-life disaster has reared its ugly head. A hurricane hellbent on destroying everything in its path. Mark is working as a fryer at a local restaurant trying to get the last few dimes out of folks before it is torn to shreds, before he calls it quits and tries to get everyone to safety. But is there really any safety when everything around you wants you dead?

In his latest book, Lucas takes us on a trip between past and present, real and unreal, gruesome events and personal heartbreak. A pretty quick read, this one packs in a lot within the short timeframe it had. I enjoyed the story and also the art that went along with it that caters throughout to bring the story even more to life. Overall I'd give this one a B.
