Kyle Lybeck's Literary Lair
A young man by the name of Kenyatta is scorned out of his first true love at a young age, because of their different races. Jump years later, and he has become a man of erotic brutality, keeping women around only to see how long they can survive his tortures, as his own endured back in the slave trade days.

Enter Natasha, a young woman who believes this is the man she is destined to be with. She will do anything to stay in his life, including having herself be bound and placed in a coffin, debased in front of others, sold into a human sex ring, and sent to live on a slave farm. She can get out of all this at any time, by uttering one, gut wrenching, foul mouthed word. But can she ever bring herself to utter this word, or will she continue along, hoping to survive the 400 days of oppression, to become fully his.

I have to say, I'm a huge fan of Wrath's, both through books and in talking to him in person. I've read almost everything the man has put in print. Unfortunately though, for a true hardcore/extreme horror author, this is a twisted piece of erotic writing way out of left field. Nothing he has written can be compared to this, and he's talking of writing another book in the similar vein. The problem is that I think, just for a moment, this extreme horror author skipped a beat, and thought he could write erotica. His wordage is at many times redundant. The situations seem far-fetched, and at times extremely unbelievable. The characters come across as unworthy to a level of his writing, and the dialogue between them is dry and uneventful. I hate to say it, but this is the first Wrath book that I wasn't a fan of, it just wasn't him. I'm going to give this a D, and urge others, if they want to get into his writing, please check out other novels/novellas of his, such as The Resurrectionist, Hero, Population Zero, His Pain, or Skinzz. While this may be for some, it certainly wasn't for me.
