Kyle Lybeck's Literary Lair
A man wakes. He doesn't know where he is. He doesn't know what his name is. What he does know, is the make and model of the bed he's sleeping in. He reaches towards the end, takes his patient sheet, and see's his name. John Doe. This couldn't be his real name though, that's a name they give to those who are unidentifiable. That's when it hits him, and his world comes crashing down like a tumble of bricks.

John is an experiment, a closely guarded secret that very few know about, and even less are trying to stop. He exits the room, and upon searching finds a nurse by the name of Serafina. She befriends him, not knowing his capabilities, or what he may be carrying. This is when both of their worlds collide and turn into an adrenaline paced terror that could end them, and could end the world.

Michaelbrent Collings is a name that is synonymous in my mind with action, thriller, horror, and adrenaline paced fury in writing. This is the fifth book of his I have had the pleasure of reading, and like I've said before, definitely will not be the last. His writing pulls you in, he keeps his characters fresh, believable, and his writing crisp. He has your eyes glued to the page, and leaves you wanting more. There is a reason you should read this author sooner than later, and it is because his writing is just that good. So do yourself a favor, check him out online, and pick up any of his novels, but especially his latest, This Darkness Light, you won't be disappointed.

Overall I would give this a B+, and I would like to thank Michaelbrent for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this novel.
