Gorilla In the Room, the new Ketchum collection, is too slowly making its way to me.

I ordered mine from his hometown bookstore,Water Street Bookstore. A bit more expensive but I get to support an indie, which makes my heart, and conscience, feel good.

Thanks for the rec on Past Masters. Sounds like my kind of book. I also ordered his Anthpology. Anthologies (especially sf & horror) are a passion of mine.

Count me as another huge McCammon fan who ordered the trade edition.

It flattened out, so I'll save myself the hassle of a return. But I hope I get one of their packing surveys!

Got mine today in a box from Amazon and it was curled almost in half. Seems to be flattening out, but...a little pissed.

Same basic package, except I got Tabby King's Small World instead of the Blatty special issue. Pleased.

Never cared much for his solo stiff, but the Niven and Barnes collabs are terrific.

It's been in and out of my Amazon cart a few times. Looks like it's going back in.

Just finished Meg Gardiner's Unsub. Read it in one sitting. Obviously I loved it.

More time, more money: if I had both I'd be all over those Brown books. Gorgeous.

Reading: The Fifth Heart, Dan Simmons. Terrific so far (about 60 pages).

Watching: the new Twin Peaks. I'm loving it. Your mileage may vary.

Listening: Beach Boys, as I'm also reading Catch A Wave, a Brian Wilson/BB bio. Very sad tale.
