Just a heads up.

While going through a UK T.V. site last night looking for a decent flick I did an eye-popping double take when I spotted Broadchurch---SO3E01.

Cool !

Watched the first episode which seemed to go very quickly, even thought for some reason they were flirting with half-hour episodes,  like what The Bill did for quite a while, but nope, just checked--
-- 46:36.
Been a while, faces/characters needed to be quickly absorbed and remembered, restocked on to burt out, aged, brain shelving. Roll Eyes

And.
Looks like we're in for another gripping season of Broadchurch by the looks of things !
Also, all I could locate was this first episode so far and am thinking it just started up -- yes I am far too lazy to tapatap tap and see. Roll Eyes

Cheers !

Oh. Here is some fan help, you tube style--

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoNgEoABj1c

-- that you can run through before you start in.

( with spoilers from first two series---just a warning for those who still have not seen the show and are planning to watch at some point down the road)

Double cheers ! Grin

I'll have to check my BBC station.  I knew it was starting soon.  Great show.

Thanks for the heads-up. It'll probably play on the free-to-air channels over here eventually, but it will be nice to see it before the interwebs ruin any surprises  Grin

I will NOT do any such thing !  Grin

Surprised you UK folks have not seen it yet---it is on 'cross the pond SOME where.
HAS to be---this is strickly a TV site. Even the movies have been aired on TV.

Do not think it's RTE, the Irish channel...

Alas, I'm in NZ, which is part of the Commonwealth and we do get a lot of UK content on free-to-air, but we do lag behind sometimes.

So previously it was on BBC America, but apparently it's on ITV, which as far as I can tell isn't a channel on my cable plan.  So I guess I'll be waiting to see this one somehow later on.

I still haven't watched series 2. But series 1 was excellent.

And I want to know when series 3 of Silk is going to be available in the US. They showed the first two series here and then nothing after that...

I'm puzzled as to what channel series 3 is actually on.

Hang on...

I don't think I ever told you guys... but maybe I did...

So... the newspaper office in Broadchuch is the old book store in Clevedon. This is where I bought my first ever paperback with my own money. It's where the love affair that shaped my life began... but... that's not the only tie - the church where Arthur Darvill is vicar is our old family church. At one point you see David Tennant and Darvill talking, and they are beside my grandmother's grave. There are about 30 Savile's in that graveyard going back generations. And the non-Savile side, the Sims, they're in there, too.
