Do you have any other cinematic gems to recommend? Hopefully ones on a par with the misunderstood brilliance of LOGAN...?

How to lose Friends and Alienate People sounds right up your alley

I wasn't aware that we were friends.

(The whole farm subplot could have been excised, and it wouldn't have mattered a bit.), and had the usual undercooked bad-guys.

Totally agree on the undercooked bad guys, but I loved the farm sequence. Yeah, it could have been shortened, but I think they needed to have some version of it there, just to illustrate the family narrative, and what Charles and Logan have lost, and what could be with Laura.

I see your point about the farm sequence, but all I could think of is "These people are going to die horribly, just to add more guilt onto Logan's already considerable burden." It would have worked better for me if he had managed to save them, somehow.

This is one of those times where I feel like an X film could have really benefited by being a part of the Marvel cinematic universe. The film would have had a lot more weight if they had been able to more closely follow the OLD MAN LOGAN storyline. Just my opinion...hope I haven't lost friends or alienated people over it. Cry

I don't know the payoff to the farm sequence was worth every minute spent there.
"It wasn't me. It wasn't me." The fact that you can't even be sure of who he's trying to convince is great.

I'm so far behind on current movies. I can't even remember the last time I went to the movies to see something new.

I liked Kong (as did our 1o year old who actually wanted to see it though eyes were hid a few times).  However, I felt that Loki and Brie Larson had very little chemistry.
