"ALIEN meets EVENT HORIZON meets THE RISING." That's how I'd describe Stephen Kozeniewski's THE HEMATOPHAGES -- which is, so far, the best book I've read for 2017. It's a funny, fantastic, gory-but-only-when-called-for horror/sci-fi tale, with excellent monsters, some superb characterization, some truly horrific set pieces, an engaging plot, and some background world-building that is politically relevant and politically conscious WITHOUT being politically correct. I highly recommend it.

Nice!  I have Hunter of the Dead on my "to buy" list.  Isn't he going to Scares That Care?  Hopefully he has both of them there

Confirmed for you -- yes, he will have copies there.

Thanks Brian!  You really don't have to run any of this interference for me, although it's super appreciated.
