I loved his novel, Rough Cut, and now I'm finally reading something else by Pinkerton. His novel, Bender, is about a recovering alcoholic who ties one on and wakes up to a nightmare. It's a crime thriller, but the story also has some pretty acute observations about addiction.

Brian Pinkerton is a damned good writer, and I plan to read the rest of his books in short order.

I always liked him. I just wished he wrote more often.

Big fan of his work.  His novel VENGEANCE was one of my favorite Leisure Books releases back in the day.

Great guy, too.

I've only read a couple of his novels, including Rough Cut (and I can't recall the title of the other one...).  I enjoyed both a great deal.  I need to get more of his books.  On top of being an excellent writer, he's a super nice guy.

I read The Killer's Diary a few years back when it was published by Bad Moon Books and thought it was very good. I would pick up more of his books if it wasn't for my already out of control to-be-read pile bookcase.
