Has anyone ever read this novel by Stewart O'Nan with King playing along? 

My sport is football, but I have a slight interest in baseball.  Heck, I wear my lucky BoSox baseball cap while I write.

Is it any good?

It's not a novel, it's a non-fiction account of the year the Sox won the Series.
Haven't read it yet, though......

I started it and gave up after about 20 pages...I just couldn't get into it at all.

I may try it someday.  I enjoyed his Little League story in NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES, so I suppose I'd enjoy this one too.  It's not nigh on the priority list, though.

I know this is one book by King that I'll never read. Baseball isn't high on my lists of sports and I hate the Yankee's and Red Sox. Baseball's all screwed up, teams like the Red Sox can throw together a 120 million dollar payroll whereas a team that I like, The Cincinnati Reds can't compete because they are a small market and don't have the money to compete.

So in short I dislike teams that have all the money like the Red Sox, so I'm not interested.

Two good authors though.
